Friday morning Ben had a job interview so later in the day
after he got home we decided to head down to Wal-Mart and get a few special
things.
1.
WIFI- For the last two weeks we have had the
internet in our apartment, but no WIFI so our computer usage was restricted to
sitting in the corner of our living room on the floor. This got old pretty fast
and we decided that WIFI was necessary, so Friday night we got it and we’re
Lovin’ it!
2.
A baby swing! These things are genius! Back in
AZ we had a fun little bouncy seat that lit up, vibrated and played music and we loved being able to
put Benson in it for a bit, sadly we were not able to bring the bouncy seat
along when we moved across the ocean. For the past month Benson has become
accustom to being held A LOT since we haven’t had anything to really put him in
and he’d get mad if you try to lay him down a lot. Over the past month our arms have become very
tired and often times I have gotten frustrated and felt as if I let Benson
“bully” me in to holding him.
So, while we were at Wal-Mart Friday night
buying our WIFI we also got a baby swing, complete with music, vibrations, toy
bar and a lock to make the swing into a stationary chair. So far I really like
it and it’s been wonderful to have another alternative when Benson wants to
move or get rocked back and forth.
Oh yeah I thought this was pretty awesome:

When
we were looking at the different swings that were available we saw this picture
on the box. This little Baby reminded me so much of my little boy that it
automatically made me want it even more! When we were checking out the cashier
even made the same comment saying that Benson looked almost identical to the
baby on the box! It was so funny!
We finished out our Wal-Mart trip by stopping by Jamba juice!
Jamba Juice is one of the biggest chains we’ve seen over here I mean they have
them everywhere! Ben and I love Jamba
juice, but unfortunately they are a little more expensive over here in Hawaii
and with our tight budget we haven’t really splurged and gotten any until
Friday. We got the exclusive Hawaiian
flavor called Kona Red it was the perfect delicious treat to indulge ourselves
in on our walk to the bus.
We finished out our day by going on a lovely Friday night date! We grabbed some yummy Greek food from a little stand we have been looking at for the past couple of weeks and then we went home to play some good old Mario Party 2 while snacking on some Delicious Aussie Licorice (if you haven’t tried that DO IT! It’s the best licorice Ben and I have ever tasted) and we ended our night by watching an episode or two of LOST the new series we just started to watch on Netflix. Friday was a good day to say the least!
Oh, guess what! The interview Ben Went to that morning called
him for a second interview during this week! Wish him luck!
