Spoiled Rotten..... In a good way

Hey everyone! Incase you didn’t know this last Thursday was my 21st birthday and it was wonderful! I will give you a brief outline and let my pictures explain the rest.

Ben and I planned on starting out the day by waking up early and going out to breakfast, but instead he let me sleep in a little and he got up and made me some HUGE Yummy chocolatechip pancakes (the best kind of pancake in my humble opinion.)

Since it my birthday landed on a Thursday this year of course I still had to go to work. Work went as usual, nothing too out of the ordinary happened. However my bosses did buy me some beautiful flowers and a super yummy small red velvet cake! Once i tasted it,it was so hard to leave it alone. Then at lunch time my mom took me out to lunch at Paradise Bakery which I loved!
However the real fun started after work. I came home and put my beautiful flowers into a vase of water and got everything in the kitchen organized. After about 5 minutes I finally came into the living room and this is what I saw…..

Needless so say I was stunned! I didn’t expect something like this to be there after I got home. I was beautiful and super thoughtful. Not to mention major torture while I was waiting. Here’s a better look at everything.
Lauri, Be patient my love, i will be home soon..... :)  <3 Ben
This is my "Benjamin Bear" Ben gave me for Valentines day and a awesome trophy he made me when we went to “As You Wish” a few months ago.

Do you recognize this dinosaur behind the paper? It's Brownie Ben’s beloved dinosaur friend that I wrote about last time. :D

Here are some of the bags with my gifts waiting inside. Turns out Ben surprised me again… those "post it's" are not just random little notes, they are some more fun haiku’s that the worked on.

while you're waiting you can remember the past year
And last but not least here is the Photo album Ben put together for Christmas with all of our special pictures. Isn’t he sweet?

The BIG Thank You Kiss
So when Ben came home I greeted him with a big kiss and lots of excitement because he kept me waiting for about 45 mins! And all I could do is stare at them until he got home!

After we opened gifts Ben told me we had to go because we were on a time schedule. When I got into the car I discovered that he already had everything all packed up and ready to go. He had even picked up dinner and hid it under a blanket and then made me guess what he got me. Thank goodness Ben knows me so well and knew exactly what I wanted, Red Robin Whiskey river chicken wraps. YUMMY!! (the perfect choice)

We drove out to Fountain Hills (just as we had done the previous year on my 20th birthday when Benjamin asked me to marry him!) I thought it was perfect! We arrived a little later than we expected, but we still got there before the sun set. We put our blanket out in the same spot as last year and ate our dinner while the sun set and the fountain went off. It was amazing! It brought back so many great memories and wonderful feelings!

When we were done we took a 1.2 mile moon lit walk around the beautiful park and headed back to mesa.

That was the bulk of the evening and it was wonderful! Of course I received a few other gifts from family members which I am grateful for, but those moment with my husband will always be what stands out in my mind! I love him and he did such a good job in giving me such a wonderful birthday! …. And yes I know he spoils me…. But I am okay with it ; )
