Okay, so I know I already posted something today and that a few days ago I already gushed over my husband Ben, but…. I can’t help it!
In previous posts I have mentioned that I am a Mia maid advisor in the Young women’s program in my ward. Well, on Wednesday night this week our stake had a “standards night” for all the Young women in the stake. Before I went I grumbled to my husband about why I had to go… all I was, was a ride for the girls and that there was no real point for me to go. I was So wrong!! It was fantastic and equally uplifting and applicable to me right now! My testimony grew so much and my heart was softened as the Lord bore witness to me about how special all of his children are to him and that the things we learned and talked about were s o important for all who were there.
Members of our Stake Young Women’s Presidency took turns talking about topics like the “ For the Strength of the Youth” pamphletsand “Personal Progress” and about what a GREAT tool lds.org/youth could be for everyone!
They showed 4 or 5 different clips that night, but the one I love the most was a clip from the tab called “From Church Leaders” it was a clip from a talk Elder Scott gave recently called “Simple expressions of Love.”
This clip almost brought me to tears and reminded me of how blessed I was to have such a sweet companion. A man who try’s so hard to make sure a smile is always plastered on my face. Someone who constantly leaves me little notes to let me know he cares. It reminded me how lucky I really am!
Case and Point:
One day we had a small misunderstanding before I left for a meeting. When I came home I had completely forgotten about it, but Ben hadn’t this is what he built me. It was sitting on the counter right in front of me when I opened the door.

These eggs are from my YW lesson I gave on Easter. He stole a few and hid them around our house. I was so giddy to go on a simple Easter egg hunt, but loved the silly loving messages he put inside even more

So when I came home that night I pulled the clip up on our computer and told him how much I loved him. I thanked him for doing so many sweet thing for me and let him know how much I appreciated it.
Well. Because I had such a good experience Wednesday night looking at the lds.org website at the “standards night” I decided to go back again today (because I had been on the computer way to long and I was extremely bored) Within seconds I found this clip, it’s the same thing I watched earlier this week, but with a little extra! It made my hart happy again so I couldn’t resist posting it her on my blog. Check it out!
